Trainee Accountant

We are looking for a motivated and detail\-oriented graduate to join our finance team. This entry\-level role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in finance, accounting, or financial analysis, as well as supporting with day\-to\-day financial operations, assist with reporting, and gain hands\-on experience across various finance functions. **Location:** Teddington **Salary:** £28,000 \- £32,000 **Hours:** 8\.30 am \- 5\.30 pm **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts * Support month\-end and year\-end closing processes * Analyse financial data and identify trends or discrepancies * Help manage accounts payable and receivable * Reconcile bank statements and financial records * Assist with audits and compliance requirements * Assist with processing payroll and providing analytical insights into trends * Maintain accurate financial documentation and records * Collaborate with other departments to support business decisions * Use financial software and Excel for data analysis and reporting **Qualifications \& Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field * Strong numerical and analytical skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables preferred) * Good understanding of basic accounting principles * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities * Willingness to learn and develop professionally, working to towards CIMA or ACCA qualification
