Job Description
**Responsibilities** * Teaching and Lesson Planning: + Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons for middle and high school students, following the prescribed curriculum (CBSE, IGCSE, or Cambridge). + Plan and prepare detailed lesson plans that incorporate grammar, literature, vocabulary, and language skills development. + Encourage creative and critical thinking through discussions, debates, storytelling, and literature analysis. + Use differentiated teaching strategies to cater to students of varying skill levels and learning styles. **Student Assessment And Evaluation** * Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' progress in comprehension, writing, speaking, and literary analysis. * Provide constructive feedback on assignments, essays, and presentations to enhance students’ performance. * Prepare students for board exams and other academic evaluations by conducting revision classes and practice tests. * Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide actionable insights during parent\-teacher meetings. **Classroom Management** * Create a disciplined and positive classroom environment conducive to effective learning. * Encourage active participation and collaboration in group activities, discussions, and projects. * Promote reading habits by recommending age\-appropriate books and materials. **Curriculum Enrichment** * Integrate modern and classic literature into lessons to expose students to a diverse range of genres and writing styles. * Organize activities such as debates, elocutions, essay\-writing competitions, and literary events to enhance language skills. * Introduce multimedia resources, online tools, and digital platforms to enhance language learning. **Professional Development** * Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, English language trends, and curriculum guidelines. * Participate in workshops, conferences, and training programs to continuously improve teaching practices. * Collaborate with peers for curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects. **School Events And Activities** * Actively contribute to the planning and execution of school literary events, such as poetry recitations, drama productions, and book fairs. * Mentor students participating in inter\-school or national\-level literary competitions. **Administrative Responsibilities** * Maintain detailed lesson plans, assessment reports, and other necessary documentation as per school requirements. * Prepare and share periodic progress reports for students with parents and school management. * Support the school in organizing parent\-teacher meetings, workshops, and open house sessions.
