Job Description
**BrightBench Technologies Inc.**
**BRITISH COLUMBIA — JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Territory Sales Manager — Healthcare (British Columbia — Greater Vancouver)**
**Full\-Time \| Field\-Based (must reside in Greater Vancouver) \| Reports to: VP Sales / Co\-Founder**
**Who We Are**
**Based in Ontario, we specialize in delivering tailored outsourcing and talent solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of modern businesses. Our approach is rooted in flexibility — allowing companies to scale efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.**
**At the core of our philosophy lies a simple belief: every business deserves a workforce solution as unique as its goals. Through transparency, precision, and partnership, we redefine what it means to build teams beyond borders.**
**About the Role**
**This position is with a Tier 1 medical supply distributor and healthcare technology organization headquartered in Vaughan, with an expanding presence in Miami. The role focuses on addressing critical supply chain challenges for hospitals, health systems, and surgical centres across Canada and the United States—ensuring uninterrupted access to essential medical products. In addition to distribution, the organization offers a proprietary SaaS platform built for healthcare procurement and supply chain teams. This platform helps clients recover revenue, reduce inefficiencies, and stay ahead of shortages through real\-time data and insights not typically available through conventional systems. You will be working with some of the most complex healthcare environments in North America, contributing directly to solutions that have an immediate and meaningful impact on both healthcare providers and patient outcomes.**
**The Territory**
**You own Greater Vancouver — one of Canada’s most concentrated and fastest\-growing healthcare markets, with approximately 7,500 acute care beds within a compact, driveable geography. This is your launch market. As the company scales, dedicated reps will be added for Calgary and Edmonton — giving you the opportunity to grow into a regional leadership role over those hires.**
**Health authorities you will call on:**
**• Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) — Vancouver, Richmond, North Shore, West Coast; \~3,100 beds \[ESTIMATE — verify]**
**• Fraser Health (Metro Vancouver) — Surrey, Burnaby, Delta, Langley, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge and surrounding Metro communities; \~3,240 beds \[ESTIMATE — verify]**
**• PHSA (Provincial Health Services Authority) — Province\-wide specialty hospitals physically located in Vancouver (BC Children’s, BC Women’s, and others); \~1,200 beds \[ESTIMATE — verify]**
**• Anchor markets: Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, North Vancouver**
**Account types you will call on:**
**• Acute care hospitals within VCH, Fraser Health (Metro Vancouver portion), and PHSA**
**• Surgical centres (private and public) across Metro Vancouver**
**• Alternate care facilities within the Greater Vancouver footprint**
**The Role**
**As Territory Sales Manager — BC (Greater Vancouver), you are the first sales presence in Western Canada. This is a high\-autonomy, individual contributor role with a direct path to Director of Sales, BC and regional VP leadership as the company scales into Calgary, Edmonton, and beyond.**
**Your mandate is dual: grow our distribution business across Metro Vancouver’s health authorities and surgical networks, while introducing our SaaS platform to supply chain teams who are under pressure to do more with less. You will be in the field 70% of the time — meeting decision\-makers in person, building the relationships that no email sequence can replace, as the supply chain partner that Greater Vancouver’s healthcare leaders trust.**
**This role is for someone who wants to plant a flag, not fill a quota.**
**Key Responsibilities**
**• Territory Prospecting \& Pipeline Development — Develop territory strategy across Greater Vancouver, covering VCH, Fraser Health (Metro Vancouver portion), PHSA, regional procurement leads, and independent surgical and alternate care sites. Build a predictable pipeline across both distribution and SaaS revenue streams.**
**• Multi\-Stakeholder Account Strategy — Sell into complex hospital systems and health authority procurement structures. Engage supply chain directors, clinical leaders, finance, and IT stakeholders. Navigate provincial health authority procurement and build consensus across silos.**
**• Platform Sales \& Account Expansion — Introduce SaaS platform to supply chain teams, guide accounts through the evaluation process, and expand relationships from distribution into long\-term technology contracts.**
**• Territory Planning \& Account Segmentation — Map your territory. Identify anchor accounts (major health systems), high\-growth targets (expanding surgical networks), and greenfield opportunities. Build annual revenue targets with clear stage\-gates.**
**• Pipeline Management \& Forecasting — Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene. Forecast with accuracy. Provide weekly visibility into deal stage, probability, and expected close.**
**• Industry Leadership \& Presence — Represent at BC healthcare conferences, health authority events, and trade shows. Build reputation as the supply chain innovation partner across Greater Vancouver.**
**• Field Presence — This is a 70% travel role. You are in the market daily — meeting customers in person, building the face\-to\-face relationships that create competitive moats in a tight\-knit regional healthcare community.**
**Qualifications**
**• 1–5 years of B2B sales. Preference will be given to healthcare or MedTech sales experience with direct experience selling into hospitals, health systems, or healthcare procurement environments.**
**• Familiarity with BC health authority buying cycles, tendering, and the decision\-maker landscape across supply chain, clinical, and finance functions (VCH or Fraser Health experience is a strong plus)**
**• CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) — you manage your pipeline like a P\&L**
**• Comfort with solution selling across both physical supply and technology offerings**
**• Must reside in Greater Vancouver with a valid driver’s license and ability to travel 70% of the time within Metro Vancouver**
**What We’re Looking For**
**• Entrepreneurial Builder — You see opportunity where others see obstacles. You are not waiting for a playbook. You are writing it.**
**• Frontier Mentality — You are building something from scratch in a market with no prior company presence. You are comfortable being the first one in the room.**
**• Grit \& Resilience — You push through setbacks with persistence. You are energized by being the face of a new brand in an established market.**
**• Commercially Hungry — You track your metrics obsessively. Uncapped commission gets you excited. Results matter.**
**• Mission\-Aligned — You believe hospitals deserve better supply chain partners. You are solving real problems for organizations that impact thousands of lives.**
**Your Growth Path**
**This is not a terminal role. It is a launchpad into provincial and national leadership.**
**• Director of Sales, BC — Deliver results and you will own British Columbia as a full provincial portfolio. This is not a someday conversation — it is the next step.**
**• Director of Sales, Western Canada — As Calgary and Edmonton reps are added, you step up to lead and mentor those hires and own the full Western Canada region.**
**• Regional VP / VP Sales Canada — Own go\-to\-market for Western North America as the company scales nationally and internationally.**
**The person who plants the flag in Vancouver leads the region as it grows. Equity participation is part of the journey — we want you invested in what you are building. Early moves matter.**
**Compensation \& Benefits**
* **The first three months are fully commission\-based, with a minimum opportunity to earn $10,000 in commission based on hitting key performance multipliers. Additional details will be shared during the screening stage.**
**• Competitive base salary \+ uncapped commission (structure detailed at offer stage)**
**• Gas card ($500/month, adjustable based on actual territory consumption) and mobile allowance ($50/month)**
**• Clear pathway to regional and national leadership**
**• Equity participation potential — be a shareholder in the company you are building**
**• Builder culture and autonomy — minimal bureaucracy, fast decision\-making, maximum freedom**
**• 3 months fully commission based \- opportunity to make minimum $10K in commission if proper multipliers are hit. Can go into more detail at screening stage.**
**Our Values**
**Criticality First — We operate in an environment where delays cost lives and shortages have real consequences. We treat every customer challenge as urgent and act accordingly.**
**Be Proactive. Have a Bias Towards the Right Action — We do not wait to be asked. We anticipate, we move, and we do what is right — for our customers, for our team, and for the healthcare system we serve.**
**Operational Synergy — We are stronger together. Distribution and technology, sales and operations, BC and the rest of Canada — every part of this company works as one integrated system.**
**Radical Transparency and Integrity to Our Customers — We tell the truth, even when it is hard. Our customers trust us with critical supply chain decisions. We earn and protect that trust every day.**
**At BrightBench, we’re excited about the possibility of you joining our team. If this opportunity aligns with your experience and aspirations, we look forward to getting to know you better. Should all go well, we hope to welcome you onboard and grow together.**
