Job Description
**Overview** We are seeking a driven and customer‑focused Territory Manager to manage and grow our portfolio of beer, wine, and spirits brands across assigned retail and on‑premise accounts. This role is responsible for delivering profitable sales growth through strong customer partnerships, disciplined territory management, and best‑in‑class execution in distribution, merchandising, and promotion. The ideal candidate brings a consultative selling approach, a passion for brand building, and the ability to execute effectively while operating within all provincial liquor regulations and customer policies. **Key Responsibilities** * Drive territory performance across  **volume, distribution, visibility, and profitability**  by executing WETT sales drivers and building strong customer relationships * Develop and execute  **account and territory plans** , tracking performance and adjusting strategies to achieve targets * Prospect and secure  **new retail and on‑premise accounts** , while expanding distribution within existing customers * Deliver  **best‑in‑class retail and on‑premise execution** , including merchandising, pricing, promotion compliance, and brand standards * Plan, sell in, and execute  **in‑market programs, activations, and promotions**  in alignment with marketing guidelines and provincial regulations * Maintain  **inventory health and product availability** , proactively managing out‑of‑stocks and SKU performance * Act as a  **brand ambassador** , providing product knowledge, training, and support to customers and staff where permitted * Collaborate cross‑functionally and support merchandisers and third‑party resources to ensure consistent in‑market execution **Qualifications \& Experience** Education * Bachelor’s degree preferred; ideally in Business, Marketing, or a related field Experience * Minimum  **5\+ years**  in sales and/or marketing * Beverage alcohol or CPG experience considered a strong asset * Exposure to retail and/or on‑premise sales environments * Experience working cross‑functionally Skills for Success * Proficiency in Microsoft 365; CRM and sales tools experience an asset * Customer‑focused, consultative selling approach with strong objection handling * Confident negotiation and influencing skills to secure placements and execution * Strong territory and time management with disciplined planning and follow‑through * Execution excellence with high attention to detail in merchandising and promo compliance * Analytical mindset with comfort using sales data and account insights * Clear, professional written and verbal communication * Strong compliance mindset with working knowledge of liquor regulations * Collaborative, accountable, and reliable team contributor Personal Attributes * Results‑driven with strong commercial acumen * Collaborative and solutions‑focused * Adaptable to changing priorities and dynamic environments * Highly organized with strong attention to detail * Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
