We enable international mobility and support growth and talent development in the Stockholm region and beyond. **Description/Purpose** The Innovation and Technology Coach is responsible for driving instructional innovation by supporting educators in integrating new teaching strategies, technologies, and innovative practices into their classrooms. The coach will work collaboratively with educators to design and implement technology\-enhanced instructional strategies, facilitating the development of digital skills among students and staff. The coach supports the development of engaging, future\-ready learning experiences aligned with IB standards and the school’s educational vision. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Key Responsibilities Technology Integration and Pedagogical Support * Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology tools into lesson planning and classroom instruction, ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives. * Provide coaching and mentorship to teachers in using digital platforms, apps, and devices to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. * Demonstrate and model effective technology integration practices in the classroom, focusing on personalised learning and innovative instructional approaches. * Provide in\-class support and co\-teaching opportunities to model effective integration of technology and AI in authentic learning contexts. AI\-Enabled Teaching and Learning * Support teachers in integrating AI tools into research, writing development, problem\-solving, and creative production in alignment with school guidelines. * Model pedagogically sound and ethically responsible uses of AI in classroom practice. * Assist teachers in adapting assessments in response to generative AI, ensuring alignment with IB requirements and academic integrity expectations. * Provide workshops and resources for students on the effective and ethical use of AI, including transparency, citation practices, and responsible collaboration with AI tools. * Develop exemplars and practical guidance to support age\-appropriate AI integration across subject areas Professional Development and Training * Design and facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and targeted training focused on innovative pedagogy, technology integration, and applied AI in education. * Create practical toolkits, tutorials, and curated resources to support classroom implementation. * Support professional learning communities exploring innovation in teaching and learning. * Provide differentiated support based on teacher readiness, confidence, and subject context. * Contribute to the onboarding and induction of new staff in the school’s digital ecosystem.  Curriculum Support * Collaborate with Programme Coordinators and Subject Leaders to embed innovative practices and purposeful technology use into curriculum planning. * Support teachers in integrating technology standards and digital competencies into curriculum planning. * Assist in designing meaningful digital assessments aligned with learning goals. * Encourage student\-centred learning experiences that promote creativity, collaboration, and independent inquiry. * Support alignment between technology integration practices and IB approaches to teaching and learning. * Ensure that technology and AI integration enhance learning objectives rather than replacing strong pedagogy. Technology Integration and Digital Literacy * Collaborate with the technology team to support the effective implementation of digital tools that enhance teaching and learning. * Support teachers and students in developing strong digital literacy, including critical evaluation of sources and responsible digital production. * Provide guidance on blended learning models, digital assessment tools, and learning management systems. Student Support and Digital Citizenship * Support the implementation of a structured digital citizenship programme across grade levels. * Collaborate with pastoral and academic teams to embed digital citizenship into advisory and subject curricula. * Provide targeted support to secondary school students on academic integrity in an AI\-enabled learning environment. * Promote the development of student\-centred, technology\-driven learning experiences that foster creativity, collaboration, and independent learning. * Lead initiatives on digital citizenship, teaching students how to navigate the digital world safely and ethically. STEM and Innovation Enrichment * Lead and coordinate student participation in robotics and technology\-focused enrichment programmes such as  **First Lego League (FLL)**  and  **First Tech Challenge (FTC)** . * Mentor and support student teams in preparation for competitions, fostering collaboration, problem\-solving, engineering design thinking, and computational thinking skills. * Encourage student engagement in STEM\-related innovation opportunities beyond the classroom and support the development of student interest in engineering, robotics, and technology. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ **Qualifications and Attributes** * **Education** * Qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. * A Master’s degree in Education, Innovation in Education, or Curriculum Development is desirable. * **Experience** * Minimum of 3 to 5 years of classroom teaching experience. * Demonstrated experience integrating technology and AI tools in education. * Experience coaching or mentoring teachers in adopting new instructional approaches. * Experience in an international or multicultural school context is preferred. * Active engagement in recognised educational technology communities or certification pathways, such as Google for Education Trainer, Innovator, Coach, or GEG Leader; Apple Coach or Distinguished Educator; Common Sense Education; Seesaw; Canva, or comparable professional networks, is highly desirable. * Demonstrated commitment to professional learning through contribution to collaborative networks, knowledge sharing, or participation in educational innovation communities. * **Skills** * Deep understanding of instructional design, curriculum development, use of AI in Education and educational technology tools. * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, parents and staff. * Ability to support teachers at varying levels of confidence and experience. * Familiarity with international educational standards and diverse curricula (IB). * Problem\-solving and troubleshooting skills to address technology challenges in the classroom. **Personal Attributes** * Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of an international school community. * A passion for technology and innovation in education, committed to lifelong learning. * Flexible, proactive, and solution\-oriented, with a collaborative approach to problem\-solving. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ **Child Protection Policy** *At Stockholm International School we are committed to protecting children.
