Technical Lead – NOC

We’re looking for a technical, hands\-on Lead who will serve as the primary technical authority for our cloud platform operations (NOC, DevOps, and Platform Engineering). As a Cloud Service Provider, this role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and automation of our multi\-tenant cloud environments. From defining engineering standards to resolving critical incidents, from owning the automation roadmap to managing high\-priority customer escalations, this role demands both depth and breadth. You will technically lead the SRE\-I team, take ownership of our cloud platform stack (Kubernetes, OpenStack/OpenShift, and hybrid cloud), and be the person both the team and customers rely on when it matters most. **Core Technical Stack** * Lead the SRE\-I team for 24/7 NOC operations; set technical direction, mentor team members, and act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and customer issues * Ensure effective Day\-2 operations of Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters and OpenStack environments (compute, network, storage); manage cluster health, workload scaling, and DR processes * Drive platform automation using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm; maintain GitOps workflows and infrastructure\-as\-code best practices * Own monitoring and observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Alertmanager; maintain dashboards, automated alert pipelines, and operational runbooks * Ensure all platform operations, changes, and projects are delivered on time and within SLA; proactively manage risks and ensure service continuity * Act as senior technical point of contact for customer escalations via ITSM ticketing system, ensuring timely, professional resolution * Provide guidance on networking fundamentals (VPNs, SDN, VLANs, firewall policies, security hardening) and hybrid cloud connectivity using GCP / Alibaba Cloud * Maintain and improve operational documentation including runbooks, SOPs, and post\-incident reports * Provide technical oversight for office IT infrastructure as needed **What We're Looking For** * 6–8 years of total experience with a strong DevOps and Kubernetes core * 4\+ years hands\-on Kubernetes — cluster management, automation, and operational ownership * Experience with OpenStack and OpenShift platform is a strong advantage * Real GitOps and IaC delivery in production environments * Veeam and DR hands\-on experience * Strong Linux fundamentals — RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu *(non\-negotiable)* * A customer\-first mindset with ITSM\-based escalation handling experience * A senior in charge or tech lead background — *this is not a people management role* **Preferred Certifications** * CKA / CKAD * RHCE / RHCSA * GCP Professional DevOps Engineer or Equivalent 📍 Karachi, Pakistan  Interested candidates send their profile to 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬@𝐢𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞.𝐢𝐨 ,mentioning the job title in the subject line or inbox me directly.
