Technical Lead

**Technical Lead / CTO — Lahore, Pakistan (On\-Site)** **About the Role** **A venture studio building AI\-native vertical SaaS companies is hiring its first Technical Lead in Lahore. You'll build and lead the local engineering team (target: \~7 people), define the technical architecture across multiple products, and serve as fractional CTO to portfolio companies as they scale.** **This is a critical hire for the Pakistan expansion \- you'll set the pace, build the culture, and own the technical foundation everything runs on.** **What You'll Do** * Recruit, hire, and lead a team of developers, a designer, and eventually a product manager in Lahore * Design a reusable technical architecture that supports multiple concurrent SaaS products and clean spin\-outs * Set up development tooling and workflows (CI/CD, Git strategy, dev environments, AI\-assisted coding tools) * Drive delivery on existing products alongside the product team * Own the delivery process end\-to\-end: code review, QA, deployment, security, and GDPR compliance * Act as the communication bridge between the Lahore team and the core leadership team **What We're Looking For** * Proven experience building and shipping multi\-tenant B2B SaaS applications * Has led small engineering teams (3–8 people) — standups, code review, delivery planning * Still hands\-on and writing code — not someone who moved to pure management years ago * Excellent English communication (near\-native level) * Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and wearing multiple hats * Strong closer mentality — thinks about edge cases, polish, deployment, and monitoring **Nice to Have** * Experience with AI\-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.) * Familiarity with React/Next.js, Node, PostgreSQL or similar stacks * Experience with multi\-product architectures or platform teams * Existing local network in Lahore for recruiting **Salary:** 200K PKR with opportunities for increase **Start Date:** As soon as possible **Process:** Screening → Leadership interview → Practical coding assessment → Culture interviews
