Explore our school in more detail on our website. **Job Description** Job Description of DP English \- **Position:** DP English Teacher **Programme:** International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme **Reports To:** DP Coordinator / Principal **Role Summary** Teach English Language and Literature in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, helping students develop strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills while preparing them for IB assessments. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan and deliver IB DP English lessons. * Prepare students for Internal Assessments, Individual Oral, and final exams. * Assess student work using IB criteria and provide feedback. * Support students with research and academic writing (including Extended Essay if required). * Participate in curriculum planning, meetings, and professional development. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English. * Teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent). * IB DP teaching experience preferred. **Skills** * Strong communication and literature teaching skills. * Ability to guide students in critical analysis and academic writing.
