Tax Intern

We are a true farm\-to\-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture. **Summary** ----------- This role will provide support to the tax department. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Gain experience in a fast paced working environment while supporting the department * Assist tax department staff with various tax filings including income, sales and use, and property tax * Research tax law and communicate finding to supervisors and customers * Provide support to tax department staff on various routine tasks **Typical Education** --------------------- * Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from 4\-year college or university * Strong academic record (suggested minimum 3\.0 GPA), with a bachelor’s degree emphasis in Accounting **Other Information** --------------------- Incumbents at this level are in a learning process. Detailed instructions are provided for work assignments. Work is routinely checked and supervisor is readily available to answer questions.
