Responds to 60\-70% of job applications usually within 1 day * Experience: NOT APPLICABLE * Number of positions: 35 * Degree Required * Short Term/Summer job, Residential * Applicant must have right to work in United Kingdom. **Job Summary** Details of Position The Emerald Cultural Institute is looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and diligent staff to work in our junior residential summer programmes in the UK (Chelmsford, Surrey, Berkshire and London area). Our courses are well run and have a great reputation in market for taking excellent care of our students aged 9\-18 years. We have a vacancies for Centre Directors, Director of Studies, residential and non\-residential teachers in all four centres with start dates of late June \& early July. Teachers will teach English classes of maximum 15 students in well equipped classrooms (all have internet access). They teach 15 hours a week (Mon\-Weds \& Fri\-Sat) and residential teachers are involved in the activity and excursion programme which runs in the afternoons and evenings. The Centre Director will ensure the smooth running of the centre and line manage centre staff. The Director of Studies will implement and manage the smooth running of the academic programme. All residential staff have one day off per week. All residential posts include free full board accommodation. We have vacancies for residential and non\-residential teachers. We are unable to provide a visa for a short term contract. **Qualifications** TEFL Certificate Centre Director Experience of working in a summer school/camp environment Experience of managing a team Experience of working with teenagers Teachers CELTA qualified (or equivalent) A University degree. QTS in Primary or Languages Excellent classroom management Previous summer school experience an advantage Salary and Benefits Centre Director \- £800 pw (£896\.56 inc holiday pay) Director of Studies \- £720pw (£806\.90 inc holiday pay) Residential teachers \-£545 pw (£610\.78 pw inc holiday pay) Non\-res teachers £17\.50 \- £19\.61 ph \+ holiday pay Full board accommodation provided at no extra cost for all residential staff in UK. The rates above are for TEFL I teachers, TEFL Q teachers will be paid a higher rate.
