Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Structural Engineer with approximately 1\-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, hands\-on experience in design and analysis, and a passion for delivering high\-quality engineering solutions. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success. **Key Responsibilities** : **Design and Analysis:** Perform structural analysis and design for various building systems using software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar tools. Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications for concrete, steel, wood, and masonry structures. Ensure designs comply with local building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC). **Project Collaboration:** Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop efficient and cost\-effective structural solutions. Participate in project meetings and provide technical input to support project goals. Site Inspections and Reporting: Conduct site visits to assess construction progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and address any structural issues. Prepare inspection reports and provide recommendations for corrective actions if needed. **Documentation and Deliverables** : Prepare and review technical reports, construction documents, and permit applications. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered on time. **Education** : Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus). Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer\-in\-Training (EIT) certification preferred. **Experience** : Approximately 1\-2 years of experience in structural engineering, including internships or full\-time roles. Experience with structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit). Familiarity with building codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC). **Skills** : Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Experience: Experience with seismic and wind load analysis. Experience in retrofit and renovation projects.
