Structural Engineer – Site Supervision

We are currently hiring for multiple site\-based roles to support ongoing projects in the UAE, offering opportunities to work within multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic project environment. **Role Summary** The **Structural Engineer** will review structural designs for concrete and steel structures, ensuring compliance with UAE authority codes, IATA ADRM, ICAO Annexes and international standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, EN\-BS, IBC). In addition to core engineering responsibilities, you will provide **mandatory management consulting and advisory expertise** , supporting strategic decision\-making, risk management and design optimization. You will assess the technical integrity of completed designs and oversee construction works to ensure alignment with the approved design intent while delivering value\-driven insights to stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** • Review structural design drawings, calculations and technical documents; ensure compliance with relevant codes and project specifications and provide technical comments and recommendations. • Provide **management consulting and advisory input** on structural design strategies, risk mitigation, cost optimization and performance improvement. • Assess constructability and multidisciplinary coordination before construction; review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submittals and as\-builts with both **technical and strategic perspective** . • Attend site inspections, factory visits and witness testing; prepare technical comments on NCRs, IRs and material approvals and monitor on\-site quality and progress. • Coordinate structural works with architectural, MEP and infrastructure disciplines; manage RFIs and design clarifications and resolve site\-related issues while aligning with **project objectives and consulting best practices** . • Apply QA/QC controls on submissions and site works; contribute to weekly and monthly progress reports. • Engage with stakeholders, contractors and authorities to provide **strategic guidance and ensure effective communication and issue resolution** . **Required Skills \& Qualifications** • 10\+ years’ experience in structural engineering with site supervision on large infrastructure projects, including at least 5 years in the Middle East. • **Mandatory experience in management consulting, infrastructure advisory or client\-facing strategic roles.** • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (Master’s advantageous). • Membership in the UAE Society of Engineers; Abu Dhabi/Dubai engineering license and PE or equivalent certification are preferred. • Extensive knowledge of international codes (ASCE\-7, ACI 318, AISC 360, EN\-BS, IBC) and UAE authority requirements. • Proficiency in structural analysis software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Robot), AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), Navisworks and MS Office. **Nice to Have** • Airport project experience. • Knowledge of geotechnical principles and construction practices. **Location / Work Type** Full\-time, site\-based role in Dubai/UAE. **Call to Action** Ready to build resilient structures while driving strategic impact?
