**Junior / Intermediate Structural Design Engineer** **Location: Vancouver, BC** **Salary: $80,000–$100,000 (dependent on experience)** A well\-established structural engineering consultancy in Vancouver is seeking a **Junior / Intermediate Structural Design Engineer** to join its growing team. This firm offers a collaborative, fast\-paced technical environment with strong mentorship and exposure to a variety of building projects. **Qualifications \& Skills** * ASc. or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering with a Structural major * Registered as a P.Eng. or EIT with EGBC * Structural design experience in concrete and wood * Working knowledge of the BC Building Code * Ability to accurately read and interpret drawing plans and construction documentation * Strong verbal and written communication skills **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare structural designs, calculations, and analysis in accordance with applicable codes and standards * Develop engineering drawings and documents using computer\-assisted design software * Review drawings, reports, and construction documentation to support project planning and execution * Conduct field reviews and structural site observations * Review shop drawings, contractor requests, and RFIs * Coordinate with internal team members and external project stakeholders **Ideal Candidate** * Positive, team\-oriented, and motivated by technical challenges * Organized and detail\-oriented * Confident communicator * Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast\-paced environment This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to further develop their technical skills within a supportive and dynamic structural consulting team.
