Structural Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a **talented and experienced Structural Design Engineer** to join our design team in **Ajman**. The ideal candidate will have **hands\-on UAE experience**, excellent technical knowledge, and a strong understanding of **municipality codes and design regulations** **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform **structural design and analysis** for **residential villas, G\+8 buildings, mosques, and mixed\-use developments**. * Prepare, review, and validate **structural drawings, calculation reports, and technical documentation** in compliance with UAE standards. * Ensure all designs comply with **Ajman, Sharjah Municipality regulations** and **UAE building codes**. * Coordinate effectively with **architectural, MEP, and project management teams** to deliver integrated and efficient design solutions. * Conduct **site inspections, design evaluations, and technical reviews** to verify alignment with approved structural plans. * Support in **authority submissions, design approvals, and client meetings** to ensure smooth workflow and project delivery. * Provide **technical mentorship** to junior engineers and draftsmen, ensuring high\-quality standards and accuracy. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in **Civil or Structural Engineering** (Master’s preferred). * **Experience:** Minimum **3–6 years of UAE experience** in structural design and analysis, preferably within a **consultancy environment**. * **Software Proficiency:** Strong knowledge of **ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, PROKON, AutoCAD**, and other relevant design software. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Deep understanding of **UAE building codes, authority submission procedures**, and **municipality design standards**. * Experience in **high\-rise and low\-rise structures**, **foundation design**, and **reinforced concrete systems**. * **Certifications:** * Valid **UAE Driving License** (required). * Valid **Society of Engineers (SOE) Card** (required). * **Language Skills:** Fluency in **Arabic** (required); **English** proficiency is an advantage. * **Soft Skills:** Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities, excellent communication and coordination skills, and keen attention to technical detail.
