Job Description
**Job Purpose** The job holder is responsible for managing stock orders, overseeing inventory control, and ensuring the smooth operation of receiving and dispatching goods, as well as maintaining specialized tools and consumables. **Core Responsibilities:** * Prepare stock orders and suggestion orders twice per month using the system. * Follow up on shipments with forwarders to ensure timely deliveries. * Track dispatch details with principal suppliers to confirm accurate delivery schedules. * Maintain better control of specialized tools, consumables, oil inventory, and ensure their safe receiving and dispatching for internal or external jobs. * Oversee the management and maintenance of special tools and equipment in the workshop. * Monitor the movement of consumables and ensure they are properly managed and accounted for. * Prepare reports on damaged tools and equipment, as well as their utilization. * Generate inventory reports and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. * Prepare claims for damaged goods, short shipments, or excess inventory as required. * Report any price differences for consumables at the time of placing orders. * Undertake any other tasks assigned by the management as per business needs. **Deliverables/Self\-Management Responsibilities:** * Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the Supervisor/ Line Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the year. * Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Line Manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended. * Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role. **Background \& Experience (years)** * At least 5 years of work experience in a multicultural environment. * Diploma / Equivalent Technical Courses / High School Certificate. * Experience in warehousing, inventory recording, and related jobs such as security, forklift operation, technical/mechanical tasks, and automotive services. * Proficient in using inventory management systems and tools. **Competencies and Skills** * Organizational Skills * Inventory Management * Record Maintenance * Communication Skills * Discrepancy Reporting * English language required * Arabic language preferred
