Job Description
We are currently looking for a band 5 registered nurse to come and work within our team. If you are a Staff Nurse who enjoys fast paced surgical care then this speciality is for you. Training and education will be provided to assist you and all newly qualified nurses will undergo a thorough preceptorship package.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 staff nurses on ward 111, a fast paced unit specialising in ENT, Plastics, Max Fax and Oncology offering a wealth of learning opportunities.
There will be the opportunity to develop specialist skills and knowledge within the specialities. This includes tracheostomy care, laryngectomy care, flap care, pre and post operative care.
Training and competencies within the specialities and on\-going support and professional development.
The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm to work within a motivated team to provide high quality care through evidence based practice and innovation. The candidate is preferred to have surgical experience and basic computer skills along with excellent communication skills; experience in tracheostomy care is also desirable but not essential. They will work under the guidance of the Sister and mentor.
