**Job Responsibilities :** * Area grading and land development. * Study the drawing and verify the lay out marking * Coordinate with surveyor to get the quantity estimate * Coordinate with Testing Laboratory for establishing OMC, MDD for the soil sample * Supervise the area grading, verify the compaction, filling layer and proper level of cutting activity * Preparing requirement of enabling materials and Schedule of Quantity * Study plant layout, construction sequence and project duration. * Establish requirements of contractor resources * Coordinate with contractor and estimate the requirement of manpower and other resources * Establish contractor's office / stores at site * Ensure day to day execution; study of Project standards, specifications. * Ensure Proper stacking and storing of materials * Validate BBS and ensure proper rebar cutting, bending and field binding. * Ensure foundations and other civil activities are executed as per drawing * Ensure surveyor's activity on day to day work like marking of coordinates, RL etc. * Generate request for civil construction materials and coordinate with Central Civil Group / batching plant for its availability * Provide input to Lead for the requirement of Insert plate fabrication and anchor bolts requirements * Verify fabrication and fixing of template for anchor bolt placing. * Inform superior for raising SER in case any clash with other discipline is envisaged * Ensure surface rendering and finishing for concrete and fire proof surface. **Education Requirement :** **Necessary :** * Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering. **Experience Requirement :** **Necessary :** * Degree in Civil Engineering with 10\-12 years of experience or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 19\-21 years of experience **Desirable :** * Experience in Refinery/ Petrochemical /Similar Large size plant **Skills \& Competencies :** * General plant and equipment layout * Area development concept * Concrete technology * Scaffolding, staging and formwork safety * Quality requirement of construction materials * Basic surveying and levelling/g layout * Safety precaution in excavation and substructure work * Types of fireproofing materials * Quality and Safety Procedures
