This role focuses on both manual and automated testing to validate complex systems, safeguard usability, and maintain performance standards. The successful candidate works closely with development and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle and champions continuous improvements in testing processes. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, test automation using Python and Selenium, and comprehensive documentation practices. The engineer actively participates in requirement analysis, develops detailed test plans, and executes a variety of test types including functional, regression, usability, and performance tests. While this role does not involve team management, it demands effective collaboration with cross\-functional partners to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities** * Perform detailed manual testing including functional, regression, usability, and integration tests on complex financial software systems to ensure robust quality standards. * Analyze product requirements and design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios aligned with business objectives and technical specifications. * Identify, document, and track defects in a clear and timely manner, collaborating closely with developers to facilitate quick resolution and improve product stability. * Validate newly developed features, bug fixes, and system enhancements across web interfaces and API platforms to ensure seamless functionality and integration. * Engage in requirement discussions early in the development process to assess testability, promote quality\-driven design, and influence requirement clarity. * Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python, supporting the efficient execution of repetitive and regression test cases. * Contribute to the continuous improvement and scaling of automation testing frameworks to enhance test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts. * Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests effectively into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. * Work closely with cross\-functional colleagues to understand product workflows, user experience expectations, and quality benchmarks. * Maintain clear, concise documentation of test execution results, defects, and quality metrics to support transparency and informed decision\-making. * Support ongoing improvements in quality assurance processes and testing standards to raise overall product quality and team efficiency.
