Software Engineer Ⅰ - MERN

Devsinc is hiring a **Software Engineer Ⅰ \- MERN Stack** with **1\.5\+ years of post\-graduate hands\-on experience** in building and maintaining full\-stack web applications using **MongoDB/PostgreSQL, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js** . The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in **JavaScript (ES6\+)** , **RESTful APIs** , and **database design** , along with practical exposure to developing **scalable, high\-performance applications** . You should be comfortable working across both frontend and backend, writing clean, maintainable code, and contributing to production\-grade systems. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, maintain, and optimize full\-stack applications using the MERN stack. * Build and enhance RESTful APIs using Python/ Node.js and Express.js. * Design and manage efficient database schemas (MongoDB/PostgreSQL). * Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices. * Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and scalability. * Assist in implementing authentication \& authorization (JWT/OAuth). * Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Software Engineering * Minimum 1\.5 years of experience in Full\-stack/ MERN development * Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6\+) \& hands\-on experience with React.js and Node.js (Express.js) * Experience building REST APIs and microservices (basic understanding) * Familiarity with MongoDB or PostgreSQL (CRUD operations, basic schema design) * Familiarity with Git, version control, and code reviews * Understanding of async programming (Promises, async/await) * Basic understanding of ORMs (Prisma, Sequelize, or similar) is a plus * Exposure to Docker/ Ci\-Cd/ cloud (AWS preferred) is a plus * Basic understanding of logging \& monitoring tools (Winston, Sentry) is a plus * Strong problem\-solving and debugging skills \& excellent communication skills
