Software Engineer - Connectivity

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden.** **About the Role** We are looking for an **Software Engineer** with strong focus on Test Automation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of software deliverables through advanced automated testing solutions. You will join the Connectivity team, responsible for onboard (“In\-Car”) software in our clients Telematics units and Infotainment head units. **Responsibilities** • Be an active member of a cross\-functional agile scrum team • Connectivity SW development in Linux environment • Develop automated test cases within existing frameworks in a Linux (Ubuntu) environment • Supervise and monitor execution of test suites and cases daily • Participate in agile ceremonies: stand\-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and team health checks • Perform software updates on test rigs • Now and then conduct manual testing in rigs and test cars • Report progress and status regularly in JIRA • Participate in test expeditions What We’re Looking For **Requirements** • Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar • Experience in automated test development and frameworks • Strong Linux skills and familiarity with Linux toolchain (bash, git, Gerrit, Jenkins) • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) **Meritorious** • C\+\+ and Python (PyTest) • Embedded software development • Robot Framework • Agile software development experience • Swedish language proficiency • Knowledge of Android frameworks and test suites (e.g., xTS) • Automotive experience within SW development **If you are passionate about bringing innovation to the projects, you work on then we would love to hear from you.** **Tata Technologies: Engineering a better world.** *Tata Technologies would like to thank all applicants for their interest; each application will be reviewed against the set criteria for the role.
