**POSITION:** Social Studies Teacher, Probationary **LOCATION:** Starpoint High School **QUALIFICATIONS:** NYS Social Studies 7\-12 Certification **DESCRIPTION:** Teach Social Studies courses in a high school setting according to New York State Education Department Learning Standards and building\-developed criteria. **The Successful Candidate Will** * Provide engaging instruction to students in a high school social studies classroom * Be an active participant in the community of educators at Starpoint High School * Collaborate with Social Studies Department members and the members of an academic team **COMPENSATION:** Per Starpoint Teachers' Association agreement **APPLICATION PROCESS:** Submit application materials through the WNYRIC system.
