Site Engineer (Interior Design)

**Role Summary** The Site Engineer will be responsible for **execution, supervision, and coordination of interior works** across multiple sites. The role requires **basic technical understanding, site discipline, and strong coordination skills** to ensure projects are delivered on time with required quality. **Key Responsibilities1\. Site Execution \& Supervision** * Supervise day\-to\-day interior works at site (false ceiling, partitions, carpentry, finishes, etc.) * Ensure work is executed as per **approved drawings and specifications** * Monitor site progress and update status regularly * Coordinate with contractors and workers for smooth execution **2\. Drawing Interpretation \& Implementation** * Study **AutoCAD drawings** and understand design intent * Mark site as per drawings (layout, levels, measurements) * Give clear instructions to carpenters, electricians, and other vendors * Identify and report drawing discrepancies **3\. Coordination** * Coordinate with: * Architects / Designers * Project Director * Vendors / Subcontractors * Ensure proper sequencing of works (civil → electrical → finishing) **4\. Material \& Procurement Support** * Raise **material requisitions** as per site requirement * Track material delivery and ensure correct quantity \& quality * Avoid material wastage and misuse **5\. Quality Control** * Check workmanship and materials at site * Follow **QC checklists** for different activities * Identify defects and ensure timely correction **6\. Reporting \& Documentation** * Maintain: * Daily Site Reports (DSR) * Weekly Progress Reports * Site photos (before / during / after) * Update measurements for billing and BOQ tracking * Maintain proper records in **Google Drive / ERP system** **7\. Site Safety** * Ensure basic safety practices at site * Enforce use of PPE by workers * Identify and report unsafe conditions **Key Skills Required** * Basic understanding of **interior works execution** * Ability to read and interpret **AutoCAD drawings** * Good communication and coordination skills * Basic knowledge of **MS Office (Excel, Word)** * Willingness to travel to outstation sites **Educational Qualification** * Diploma in Civil Engineering / BE Civil **Experience** * 2 years to 3 years (interior or construction exposure preferred) **Preferred Traits** * Responsible and disciplined * Willing to learn and take ownership * Problem\-solving mindset * Ability to handle multiple sites **Reporting To** * Project Director / Senior Engineer **Performance Expectations** * Timely completion of site activities * Accurate execution as per drawings * Proper reporting and documentation * Minimal rework and material wastage Job Type: Full\-time Pay: From ₹28,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Leave encashment * Paid sick time * Paid time off Ability to commute/relocate: * Ayappakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: * Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: * total work: 2 years (Preferred) Language: * Hindi (Preferred) License/Certification: * 2 Wheeler Licence (Preferred) Willingness to travel: * 50% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
