**Senior Transportation Engineer** **Salary:** $120,000 – $160,000 **Location:** Lower Mainland (Hybrid) I’m working with a well\-established engineering consultancy that is looking to add a **Senior Transportation Engineer** to their growing team. This is an opportunity to take on a **key technical and project leadership role** , working on a range of transportation and infrastructure projects across the region. **The Role** You will lead and deliver transportation engineering projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support. This role offers a strong mix of **technical design, project management, and client interaction** . **Key Responsibilities** * Lead transportation design projects including roadways, intersections, and active transportation infrastructure * Prepare and review technical reports, design drawings, and specifications * Conduct traffic analysis, modelling, and transportation studies * Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders * Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff * Support business development activities including proposals and client meetings **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) * P.Eng. designation (or eligible) in BC * 8–15\+ years of experience in transportation engineering * Strong experience with transportation design and traffic analysis * Familiarity with relevant software (e.g., Synchro, VISSIM, Civil 3D) * Proven ability to manage projects and communicate with clients **What’s on Offer** * Competitive salary: $120K–$160K * Strong pipeline of transportation and infrastructure projects * Hybrid and flexible work environment * Clear pathway into leadership * Collaborative, multidisciplinary team If you’re a transportation engineer looking to step into a **senior role with real project ownership and progression** , feel free to reach out for a confidential discussion.
