Gem City Business Solutions is a management services firm devoted to serving the needs of our clients within ever hyper competitive environments. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an established accounting background. An ideal candidate is looking for a professional work environment that is fast paced, ever changing, and one that allows for career progression.
We are seeking someone with the following background and skills:
* Ability and willingness to work at multiple levels involving both bookkeeping, as well as complete month end close.
* Dedicated to assuring accuracy and consistency of work product, while multi\-tasking among multiple clients and projects.
* Well\-developed communication skills with the ability to express ideas and perspectives with impact (both written and verbal)
* Ability to manage work flow associated with structured schedules, while having the ability of designing efficiencies and improvements for additional responsibilities
* Ability to work as an individual contributor or within an integrated team based upon engagement needs
* **Experience with both desktop and online versions of QuickBooks is required**, and experience using various payroll providers is a plus.
* The ideal candidate will also possess the ability and willingness to learn and work with various technologies.
* Associate, or Bachelor Degree in Accountancy is required
* 5 to 7 years of prior experience required.
Position is full time. Salary commensurate with experience, range is from $55,000 to $85,000\. Competitive benefits, inclusive of PTO, as well as health, dental, eye and life insurance.
Pay: $55,000\.00 \- $85,000\.00 per year
