Job Description
**Aperçu**
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will provide comprehensive HR leadership to the Jones Group and Hussmann Cambridge Sales Office, with regular travel to all associated sites across Canada. This portfolio encompasses an employee population of approximately 130 to 150 employees (including both union and non\-union employees). This position reports directly to the Corporate Human Resources Manager. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Vancouver, BC area.
**Responsabilités**
* Serve as a strategic business advisor to organizational leaders, providing guidance on organizational design and effectiveness, talent and performance management, total rewards, workforce planning, change management, employee/union relations, employee engagement, and leadership development.
* Develop organizational strategies by identifying and analyzing human resources issues, providing data\-driven insights and recommendations to inform strategic direction, and establishing HR objectives that align with and support overall organizational goals.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive talent management strategy aligned with business objectives, encompassing organizational design, succession planning, high\-potential identification and development, talent management, and strategic talent acquisition.
* Ensure the fair and consistent interpretation and application of company policies, practices, procedures, and leave administration to support and sustain a positive and compliant work environment.
* Oversee labor and employee relations for the facility, including contract administration.
* Assess training needs across the site and proactively facilitate the development of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to support evolving business needs. Serve as a change agent by leading and enabling the successful implementation of new initiative throughout the organization.
* Drive employee and organizational engagement to strengthen culture, enhance performance, and support overall business success.
**Qualifications**
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field is required, Masters Preferred.
* Experience: 8\-12\+ years of progressive HR experience.
* Knowledge of Canadian Law: Understanding of federal and provincial employment standards, labor laws, and occupational health and safety regulations
* Core skills: Proficiency in recruitment and selection, employee relations, unionized environments/collective bargaining agreements, compensation and benefits, payroll, training and development, HR technology/systems and organizational change management.
* Soft skills: Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, discretion, and influencing/negotiating skills.
* Certification: CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) designation is preferred.
* Language: English is required; French is preferred.
* Travel: up to 30% (Burnaby, Parksville, Victoria, and Cambridge).
The salary or hourly range of $ 80231\-$133,718 is just one component of Hussmann’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
