We are therefore very selective of our next recruit hence only apply if you truly believe your experience and attitude is suitable. **\*As part of the recruitment process, there will be online live test testing your accounting and reporting skills.** **About the Role** NO RECRUITERS PLEASE We’re looking for an experienced **Senior Financial Accountant** to join our team remotely. This role is ideal for a hands\-on professional who enjoys both operational accounting and financial reporting. You’ll manage financial reporting, streamline accounting processes, and provide leadership to less experienced accountants. **Responsibilities:** * Month end reporting with all reconciliations including finance models and reporting tools updates * Proficient, daily use of multiple systems: Xero, Google Sheets, Syft, FLOATAPP and other apps used by our clients * Very good understanding of financial processes and business KPIs to be able to understand the clients focus areas and reporting requirements * Understanding of business lifecycle \- early start ups, growth, investment rounds, exits, etc * Prepare and review financial statements and management reports * Supervise and mentor junior accountants * Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards * Conduct financial analysis and support business decision\-making * Manage and improve accounting processes and internal controls * Collaborate on finance projects (system implementation, reporting automation, etc.) * Communicate with clients and stakeholders with professionalism and clarity **Qualifications \& Experience** * 5\+ years of experience in accounting or finance (UK \+ international companies preferred) * CA qualified or studying towards the professional accounting exams preferable * Strong understanding of financial reporting, management accounts, and compliance * Proven experience leading or mentoring accounting staff * Proficiency with **Xero** and financial reporting tools * Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills * Self\-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting **Why Join J\&B Finance?** * 100% remote work (flexible hours) * Well paid position depending on experience with additional perks based on performance * Becoming part of fantastic small team with abilty to infulence decisions, create processes and efficiencies in house and across our clients * Experience working with diverse clients and finance projects in dynamic start\-up settings with constantly evolving processes * Opportunity to help shape and grow a dynamic accounting practice **Interested?** Apply via LinkedIn or reach out directly to **Julita** (julita\-stachowiak) at J\&B Finance Ltd for an informal chat.
