**SENIOR DIRECTOR OF SALES \- CPG FOOD COMPANY \- REMOTE ROLE** Location: Greater Toronto Area Industry: Consumer Packaged Goods \- Food Vacancy: This posting is for an existing vacancy. Salary Range: $145,000 \- $195,000 base salary \+ performance bonus PLEASE NOTE: This role requires current/recent retail sales leadership experience working within food categories for food manufacturers in the Consumer\-Packaged Foods industry. While we appreciate interest, only those with this experience will be considered. Our client, an innovative, well\-respected, and market\-leading CPG food manufacturer in Canada is seeking a sharp, driven, and well\-accomplished sales leader to join their team. This role is responsible for leading retail sales growth across Ontario by shaping and executing a regional commercial strategy aligned with broader Canadian objectives. It will report to a well\-respected SVP Sales and will lead, coach and inspire a high\-functioning sales team of 6\-8 people. Working closely with senior leadership and cross\-functional teams, the position focuses on driving revenue, strengthening profitability, and positioning the organization competitively within the retail landscape. A key element of success involves building and expanding relationships with major customers while identifying new avenues for business development. The position oversees end\-to\-end sales planning and performance management, including setting targets, monitoring results, and adapting strategies based on market insights and competitive dynamics. It partners closely with marketing and innovation teams to refine go\-to\-market approaches, optimize product offerings, and enhance brand positioning. Leadership responsibilities include managing and developing the regional sales team, ensuring proper structure, capability building, and alignment with evolving customer and market demands. Candidates are expected to bring strong commercial acumen, leadership presence, and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization. The role requires extensive experience in food\-related sales environments with a strong focus on the retail channel (foodservice experience/knowledge would be a strong asset), along with a proven ability to lead through change and drive strategic initiatives. A track record of success in leading CPG account sales professionals is required, as is at least 8\-10 years of experience. Based in Ontario with occasional travel, the position suits a hands\-on and goal\-oriented leader who combines analytical thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset to deliver sustained growth. This is a fully remote role.
