Senior DevOps Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a Senior DevOps Resource who will act as both a strategic advisor and technical leader in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise\-scale DevOps and cloud ecosystems. This role goes beyond engineering execution and requires strong consulting capability, enabling the candidate to guide clients and internal teams in building scalable, secure, resilient, and cost\-efficient platforms. The ideal candidate will drive platform engineering initiatives, enforce DevOps best practices, and enable high\-performing engineering teams through automation, observability, and continuous delivery frameworks. You will play a critical role in shaping DevOps strategy, accelerating delivery velocity, and improving system reliability across complex enterprise environments. **Job Responsibilities:** **Consulting \& Stakeholder Engagement** * Engage with clients and stakeholders to define DevOps strategy, roadmap, and target architecture. * Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions. * Support pre\-sales activities, including solution design, estimations, and technical proposals. * Conduct architecture reviews and DevOps maturity assessments. **Infrastructure Strategy \& Architecture** * Lead the design and implementation of enterprise\-grade Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. * Architect modular, reusable, and scalable infrastructure patterns across multi\-cloud and hybrid environments. * Define reference architectures and standards for cloud\-native platforms. **Release Engineering \& GitOps** * Design, implement, and optimize end\-to\-end CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. * Lead adoption of GitOps practices (ArgoCD/Flux) for declarative and automated deployments. * Drive improvements in deployment frequency, lead time, and release reliability. **Kubernetes Orchestration** * Architect and manage Kubernetes\-based platforms for scalable and resilient workloads. * Develop and maintain Helm charts for standardized deployments across Dev, QA, Staging, and Production environments. * Implement advanced orchestration patterns including auto\-scaling, service mesh, and traffic management. **Security, Compliance \& Secrets Management** * Architect and enforce secure DevOps practices (DevSecOps) across pipelines and infrastructure. * Implement robust Secrets Management solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault). * Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory frameworks. * Integrate security scanning tools (e.g., Trivy, Snyk) into CI/CD pipelines. **Observability and Site Reliability Engineering** * Design and implement observability frameworks using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog. * Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, along with error budgets. * Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and postmortem processes. * Drive improvements in system availability, performance, and MTTR (Mean Time to Recovery). **Resiliency \& Disaster Recovery (DR)** * Define and implement enterprise\-level DR strategies, including multi\-region and multi\-zone architectures. * Establish RTO and RPO targets aligned with business requirements. * Conduct automated failover testing and resilience simulations. **FinOps and Cost Optimization** * Optimize cloud infrastructure costs through right\-sizing, auto\-scaling, and workload optimization. * Implement cost monitoring, tagging strategies, and governance frameworks. * Provide cost\-performance tradeoff recommendations to stakeholders. **Qualification** * **Experience:** Minimum of 6–8 years in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Cloud Architecture, with a proven track record in a senior\-level consulting role. * **Technical Mastery:** Expertise in Kubernetes and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux). * Advanced proficiency in Helm for templating and package management. * Mastery of IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi). * **Security \& Compliance:** Deep experience in managing sensitive data and compliance frameworks, specifically regarding automated secrets injection and auditability. * **Disaster Recovery:** Proven ability to architect "self\-healing" systems and verifiable experience in implementing multi\-region disaster recovery protocols. * **Cloud Expertise:** Extensive experience with **AWS, Azure, or GCP** (multi\-cloud preferred). * Experience in **hybrid cloud and enterprise\-scale deployments** . * Hands\-on experience with **monitoring and observability tools** (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). * **Methodology:** Strong alignment with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks to drive deployment velocity and operational reliability.
