Senior Data Scientist - AI/ML

Position: Senior Data Scientist Location: Karachi Work Setup: Hybrid / Onsite Employment Type: Full\-Time **Role Overview** **We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to drive the development of advanced AI and machine learning solutions. This role is suited for professionals who have a strong passion for building scalable, cloud\-based systems and leveraging data to deliver measurable business value. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing intelligent solutions and leading end\-to\-end model deployment.** **Key Responsibilities** **·       Develop and implement machine learning and AI solutions, including NLP, LLMs, recommendation engines, and generative AI applications.** **·       Lead the full lifecycle of model development, deployment, and monitoring using Databricks (Mosaic AI).** **·       Utilize the Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Cognitive Services) to build and deploy solutions.** **·       Design and architect scalable, cloud\-native AI systems to support business needs.** **·       Translate complex business problems into data\-driven solutions and actionable insights.** **·       Build and maintain efficient ML pipelines to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.** **·       Work closely with cross\-functional teams including engineering, product, and business stakeholders.** **·       Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior data scientists and team members.** **·       Required Qualifications \& Experience** **·       Minimum 7\+ years of experience in data science and production\-level machine learning.** **·       Strong expertise in Databricks and MLOps practices.** **·       Hands\-on experience with Microsoft Azure platforms (Azure AI, Azure ML, Synapse).** **·       Deep understanding of machine learning, NLP, and large language models (LLMs).** **·       Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (scikit\-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Hugging Face).** **·       Experience with tools such as MLflow, Git, and Azure DevOps.** **Preferred Skills** **Experience in designing and deploying scalable AI systems in production environments.** **Understanding of responsible AI practices and model governance.** * **Familiarity with vector databases and LLM monitoring tools.**
