Senior Cloud Engineer (Mashreq Global Network Pakistan)

**Job Purpose:** The Senior Cloud Engineer deploys and operates cloud Kubernetes platforms (AKS/EKS) and cloud networking within highly available, scalable environments, and provisions and manages cloud infrastructure through automation (e.g., Terraform and Azure DevOps) across deployment, integration, configuration, and testing. The role designs secure, high‑performance cloud architectures on Azure and AWS, spanning compute, storage, databases, and identity/access controls (IAM/RBAC). It also ensures production stability through monitoring, patch and vulnerability management, incident response, root‑cause analysis, and performance tuning, while acting as a CCoE subject‑matter expert by providing guidance, documentation, compliance alignment, risk/status reporting, and knowledge transfer. * Responsible for deployment of Kubernetes (AKS, EKS) and Cloud network in a highly available and scalable environment. * Responsible for managing the Cloud infrastructure deployment, integration, configuration, and testing. * Design Cloud Architecture to support workloads with the highest security and performance. * Expert in Microsoft Azure Cloud and AWS Cloud * Expert knowledge of networking and infrastructure provisioning consisting of networks, compute, storage and databases. * Analyse errors in systems and define corrective measures * Guarantee a secure infrastructure environment as well as production stability and performance. * Support Azure and AWS infrastructure services. * Provide guidance and technical insights to the team for continuous improvements. * Will be subject matter expert in Cloud Kubernetes and Cloud network. **Key Result Areas:** * Cloud Infrastructure provisioning using Terraform \& Azure DevOps * Cloud Kubernetes (AKS, EKS) design, provision and maintain. * Kubernetes administration capability * Azure/AWS network administration capability * Patch Management, Vulnerability management and documentation * Compliance to current information security policies and baselines * Support Cloud BAU Infrastructure
