Job Description
**Position Overview**
We’re seeking a hands\-on
**Senior Accountant**
to own and manage our
**day\-to\-day accounting**
operations. This is a key, hands\-on role responsible for maintaining
**accurate financials**
, ensuring strong internal controls, and supporting the business with clear,
**reliable reporting**
.
This is not a CFO or strategy\-oriented role—it’s a hands\-on accounting role focused on
**execution, accuracy, and consistency, with regular reporting to the General Manager.**
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Manage**
the general ledger and daily accounting operations
* **Lead**
monthly, quarterly, and year\-end close processes
* Prepare and review financial statements
* **Reconcile**
bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
* Ensure
**compliance with GAAP**
and internal controls
* **Partner with**
**external CPA**
firm for tax filings and year\-end review
* **Monitor**
cash flow and assist with basic forecasting
* **Support**
AP/AR, payroll, and inventory accounting
* **Identify**
and implement process improvements
* **Collaborate**
and improve systems
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
* **5\+**
years of accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of
**GAAP**
and financial reporting
* **Experience**
with full\-cycle accounting and month\-end close
* **Proficiency**
in accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
* Highly detail\-oriented, organized, and dependable
* Comfortable in a hands\-on, growing business environment
* **Experience in retail, e\-commerce, and import/export/tariff**
* **Inventory and cost accounting experience**
