Senior Accountant

Title: Senior Accountant Sector: Financial Services Salary: £75\-80,000 Location: City, London (hybrid working) A leading global financial services broker is looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join its European finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative team of around 10 finance professionals, supporting a fast\-growing international business. This role sits at the heart of the finance function and will partner closely with regional finance teams across Europe, providing insight and analysis that supports strategic decision\-making and business growth. Key responsibilities include: • Partnering with regional finance teams across the European business • Supporting the production of consolidated group management accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis • Providing regular and ad\-hoc reporting on business performance from a broking perspective • Contributing to the integration of newly acquired businesses and supporting continued group growth • Delivering financial insight to support commercial and operational decision\-making The Candidate: • Qualified Accountant (CA, ACA,) ideally with a big four background • Experienced in auditing or working in a publicly listed company (PLC) • Proven in house Management Accounting experience • Strong Power BI user, with the ability to produce meaningful dashboards and insights for the business
