Job Description
**About the opportunity:**
* Oversee daily finance operations including accounts payable/receivable, inventory accounting, general ledger, reporting, and cash flow management.
* Support the monthly close process through accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
* Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing clear commentary on monthly results and expense trends.
* Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, monitoring performance against financial plans.
* Coordinate with auditors and support the year\-end audit process.
* Deliver financial insights and reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
* Manage relationships with banks, insurers, auditors, and other external partners.
* Ensure compliance with tax filings and other financial administrative requirements.
* Lead special projects and support strategic initiatives within the finance function.
* Mentor and guide the finance team while promoting a culture of accountability and collaboration.
**About you:**
* 5\+ years of progressive full cycle accounting experience
* CPA enrolment is an asset
* Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and problem\-solving mindset and an ability to prioritize demands and manage expectations
