Senior Accountant (US Tax)

**About the Role:** We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage end\-to\-end accounting functions, ensure financial accuracy, and support management with timely financial insights. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, hands\-on system experience, and the ability to operate independently while supporting US\-based stakeholders. This position is ideal for accounting professionals seeking career advancement and exposure to international financial operations. **Job Description** * Familiarity with US GAAP, QuickBooks, and tax software is preferred. * Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax filings, and reconciliations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools. * Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. * Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting tools. * Ability to work independently in a fast\-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** **Financial Accounting \& Reporting** * Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. * Ensure financial records comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. * Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. **Tax \& Regulatory Support** * Assist with preparation and review of federal, state, and indirect tax filings. * Support compliance with US tax and statutory requirements. * Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies. * Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance reviews. **Systems \& Process Management** * Utilize ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) for accounting transactions and reporting. * Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies. * Support system audits, data validations, and internal control reviews. **Business Support \& Analysis** * Provide financial analysis and reports to support management decision\-making. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams on financial planning and cost control initiatives. **Requirements:** * ACCA, CA (Part\-Qualified or Finalist), or Bachelor's/Master’s in Accounting or Finance. * 4\-6 years of experience in accounting, tax, or audit (US tax experience is a plus). **Shift Timings:** Monday to Friday * 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM – Pakistan Standard Time (PST) * 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM – Central Standard Time (CST) **Why Join US?** * Work with a US\-based company and gain international exposure. * Competitive salary and professional growth opportunities. * Work from our Lahore office with a collaborative team environment. * Opportunity to develop expertise in US taxation, ERP, and accounting practices.
