Senior Accountant (UAE & Hong Kong Experience)

Our operations span eCommerce, services, and digital ventures — and we are seeking a highly experienced **Senior Accountant** who understands the nuances of **UAE and Hong Kong accounting standards** , local tax laws, and international financial reporting. **Role Overview** You will play a key role in managing and optimizing the company’s financial processes, ensuring full compliance with regional laws in both **UAE and Hong Kong** , and maintaining accurate and transparent financial records. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain and reconcile general ledgers for UAE and Hong Kong entities * Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Hong Kong IRD (Inland Revenue Department) requirements * Manage accounts payable and receivable, cash flow, and payroll across jurisdictions * Liaise with local auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies * Assist with corporate filings and financial compliance for DMCC, DIFC, or HK companies * Support budget planning, forecasting, and financial strategy initiatives * Implement financial best practices and internal controls across both entities * Work with cross\-border banking platforms (e.g., HSBC HK, Emirates NBD, etc.) **Requirements** * **Bachelor’s degree** in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred) * Minimum **5\+ years of accounting experience** in the **UAE and Hong Kong** * Solid understanding of: * UAE VAT laws and FTA reporting * Hong Kong Profits Tax, Employer’s Return, and audit preparation * Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, or SAP) * Strong command of English; Cantonese or Arabic is a plus * Detail\-oriented, highly organized, and deadline\-driven * Ability to work independently and across international time zones **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in eCommerce, digital agencies, or international service businesses * Familiarity with banking platforms like Airwallex, Wise, or multi\-currency accounts * Exposure to crypto or fintech accounting (nice to have) **Perks \& Benefits** * Competitive salary with performance bonuses * Remote flexibility with multicultural team * Opportunity to grow into Financial Controller / Head of Finance role * International exposure across high\-growth markets
