With a deep\-rooted heritage in craftsmanship and a loyal international following, we continue to lead the industry in premium festive and ready\-to\-wear apparel. **Role Description** We are seeking a detail\-oriented **Senior Accountant** for a full\-time, on\-site role at our Karachi headquarters. The successful candidate will oversee the full spectrum of financial operations, with a specific focus on the complexities of textile manufacturing and retail. You will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records, managing inventory valuation, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring strict compliance with local taxation and regulations. You will work closely with the leadership team to provide data\-driven insights that support the brand’s continued growth. **Key Responsibilities** * **Financial Reporting:** Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and GAAP. * **Operational Accounting:** Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. * **Costing \& Inventory:** Manage complex cost analysis related to fabric procurement, embroidery production, and finished goods inventory. * **Taxation \& Compliance:** Ensure full compliance with FBR/SRB regulations, including sales tax filings, income tax, and provincial levies. * **Reconciliation:** Perform rigorous bank, vendor, and inter\-company reconciliations. * **Budgeting:** Implement and monitor departmental budgets to optimize cash flow and resource allocation. **Qualifications** * **Industry Experience:** **Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience specifically within the textile, garment, or fashion retail sector is required.** * **Technical Expertise:** Strong knowledge of textile\-specific accounting, including work\-in\-process (WIP) tracking and raw material costing. * **Regulatory Knowledge:** Deep proficiency in Pakistan’s taxation laws and financial regulations. * **Software Skills:** Advanced proficiency in **QuickBooks, SAP,** or similar ERP systems, along with expert\-level Excel skills. * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; **ACCA (Member/Affiliate) or ICMA/CA\-Inter** is highly preferred. * **Soft Skills:** Strong analytical mindset, organizational excellence, and the ability to communicate financial complexities to non\-finance teams. **Compensation \& Schedule** * **Monthly Salary:** PKR 100,000 – 150,000 (Commensurate with experience) * **Work Hours:** 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 5 days a week. * **Location:** Strictly on\-site at our Karachi office.
