Our client FM Crown Trades is looking for a Senior Accountant \- Remote Accounting Specialist in Lahore
FM Crown Trades is seeking a skilled and detail\-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of practical accounting experience and possess strong knowledge of bookkeeping and UK accounting practices. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential to perform daily accounting functions efficiently. This role demands a professional with high attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently within a remote environment. The Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy of financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes.
This position does not involve managing a team but requires a strong ownership mindset and the ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and professional discipline. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and invoice management to support FM Crown Trades' financial integrity and contribute to the organization's overall success.
**Responsibilities**
* Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date financial records including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Process and verify invoices ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
* Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and ledger reconciliation.
* Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
* Utilize QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online for financial reporting and managing various accounting functions.
* Generate financial reports and statements to support management decisions and financial audits.
* Manage expense reporting using relevant software, ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Handle invoice processing and verification to maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
* Oversee accounts payable processing efficiently to maintain strong vendor relationships.
* Apply Microsoft Excel skills, including financial functions, to analyze data and prepare reports.
* Communicate effectively through written and verbal English to coordinate with stakeholders and resolve accounting inquiries.
* Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability to deliver high\-quality work independently in a remote work setting.
* Adhere to professional discipline and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
* Meet strict deadlines consistently to support timely financial operations and reporting.
