Senior Accountant

This is a pivotal role for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to play a key part in a scaling organization. **Responsibilities:** * Manage the end\-to\-end full cycle accounting process, ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with ASPE. * Lead the timely monthly, quarterly, and year\-end close of the general ledger. * Oversee and record accruals, prepayments, and adjusting journal entries. * Manage revenue recognition activities to ensure compliance. * Own fixed asset accounting, including maintaining depreciation schedules, tracking additions/dispositions, and conducting periodic audits. * Perform reviews of AP and AR aging reports, identifying delinquent accounts or payment discrepancies and coordinating with teams for resolution * Prepare comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations supported by detailed schedules to ensure account integrity. * Monitor cash balances daily to ensure adequate liquidity and support cash flow forecasting. * Review employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies. * Act as the primary point of contact for audit support coordination, preparing PBC schedules and explaining variances to external auditors. * Provide ad\-hoc support to the VP of Finance as required, including financial analysis, special projects, and board\-level reporting. * Design and implement process improvements and automation tools to reduce manual entry and shorten the close cycle. * Maintain and update internal control documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness. **Qualifications:** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation is a plus. * Experience: 6\+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in audit coordination and full cycle reporting.
