**Position Overview:**
We are a UAE\-based professional consultancy firm providing accounting, taxation, internal audit, and financial advisory services to clients across the UAE.
The Senior Accountant – Client Accounting \& Finance Support role will join our Pakistan back\-office support team to assist the Meta World consulting team in Dubai with client accounting, financial reporting, internal audit support, and compliance\-related work.
This role will be responsible for handling multiple client engagements, maintaining accounting records, preparing financial reports, and supporting internal audit assignments for UAE\-based clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Client Accounting \& Bookkeeping**
* Maintain
**complete accounting records**
for multiple UAE clients.
* Perform
**day\-to\-day bookkeeping**
including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
* Prepare
**monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements**
.
* Ensure financial records comply with
**International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)**
and UAE regulatory requirements.
* Manage
**accounts payable and receivable**
processes for client accounts.
* Perform
**bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations**
.
**Financial Reporting \& Analysis**
* Prepare
**management reports and financial analysis**
for clients.
* Assist consultants in preparing
**financial dashboards and performance reports**
.
* Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
* Support
**budget preparation and financial forecasting**
for clients when required.
**Internal Audit Support**
* Assist in conducting
**internal audit assignments**
for UAE\-based clients.
* Review financial processes and internal controls.
* Prepare
**audit working papers, documentation, and audit reports**
.
* Identify risks, control weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
**Compliance \& Regulatory Support**
* Support clients with
**UAE VAT compliance and documentation**
.
* Assist with
**corporate tax documentation and financial records preparation**
.
* Maintain proper documentation for
**audit and regulatory requirements**
.
* Ensure accounting records comply with
**UAE laws and professional standards**
.
**Client Coordination**
* Work closely with the
**Dubai consulting team**
on client assignments.
* Respond to accounting queries and provide financial data required by consultants.
* Assist in preparing documents required for
**client meetings and presentations**
.
**Process Improvement**
* Recommend improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.
* Assist in implementing
**best practices in financial management and reporting**
.
* Support digital accounting solutions and automation where applicable.
**Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in
**Accounting, Finance, or related field**
.
* Professional certifications such as
**ACCA, CA (Part Qualified/Qualified), CPA, or CMA**
will be an advantage.
**Experience Requirements**
* **Minimum 5 years of relevant experience**
in accounting and finance roles.
* Preferably experience with
**reputable accounting, audit, or consulting firms**
.
* Experience working with
**multiple clients or outsourced accounting services**
is highly desirable.
* Exposure to
**UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, or consultancy environment**
is an added advantage.
