**Required Skills \& Experience** ● CPA or CPA path ● The candidate has established a solid foundation in accounting and client/stakeholder management. They should be familiar with what is involved in the month\-end process. ● Strong communications and interpersonal skills. Be able to pick up new technology and applications quickly. ● Excellent analytical and problem\-solving abilities, with acute attention to detail. ● Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. ● Sound decision\-making skills and ability to exercise judgement in complex situations **Job Description** The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the day\-to\-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership capability, in\-depth knowledge of accounting practices, and a desire to contribute to driving process improvements and streamlining financial operations. **Key Responsibilities:** ● Manage and/or supervise the accounting team as applicable, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, trial balance and general ledger. ● Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. ● Support and/or oversee month\-end and year\-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis. ● Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to gather financial data and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. ● Recommend, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard client assets and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations. ● Review and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to client management for improving financial performance and operational efficiency. ● Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure compliance with new requirements. ● Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives to streamline financial operations, enhance accuracy, and optimize efficiency. **Rate** $75,000\-$85,000/yr
