H2GO Mobile Wash is a growing mobile power washing company serving residential, commercial, and industrial clients across Ontario. As a growing small business, we are seeking a hands\-on accounting professional who is comfortable both performing and managing the company’s accounting function.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small, entrepreneurial environment where they can take ownership of the accounting cycle while remaining actively involved in the day\-to\-day accounting work. The successful candidate will work closely with ownership and play a key role in supporting financial operations as the company continues to grow.

**Role Description**
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing and managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal processes, and supporting management with cash flow monitoring and financial insight.
As a growing small business, this is a hands\-on role where the successful candidate will personally perform many core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
The individual will work closely with ownership and external accountants to maintain accurate financial records and support the company’s financial operations. The role currently does not include direct reports, so the successful candidate must be comfortable personally performing core accounting tasks while managing the overall accounting function.
This is a full\-time, hybrid role based in Grimsby, ON.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Accounting \& Financial Reporting**
* Perform and manage the full accounting cycle, including personally handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
* Prepare and take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review by ownership and external accountants
* Perform month\-end and year\-end closing procedures
* Maintain supporting schedules including accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
* Maintain and reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.
**Cash Flow Management**
* Monitor the company’s cash position on an ongoing basis
* Prepare weekly or monthly cash flow reports
* Analyze upcoming receivables, payables, and payroll obligations
* Perform cash flow analysis and provide insight to management regarding upcoming obligations, cash availability, and the financial feasibility of expenditures
**Payroll \& Tax Compliance**
* Manage payroll processes for staff and ensure accurate remittances
* Prepare and manage government filings and remittances, including HST returns, payroll remittances, EHT, WSIB filings, and year\-end T4 preparation and reconciliation
* Maintain compliance with government remittances and reporting obligations
**Intercompany Accounting**
* Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions between related entities
* Ensure accurate recording and timely reconciliation of intercompany balances
**Job Costing \& Operational Reporting**
* Assist with job costing and project profitability tracking
* Provide reporting that supports operational and financial decision\-making
**Process Improvements**
* Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial reporting
* Assist with system improvements and workflow efficiencies
**External Accountant Coordination**
* Work closely with the company’s external accountants
* Support year\-end preparation and required documentation
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation or equivalent is preferred
* 5\+ years of accounting experience; experience in service industries is an asset
* Experience working in a small or mid\-sized business environment where the individual was responsible for multiple aspects of the accounting cycle.
* Strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow management
* Experience with intercompany accounting
* Hands\-on experience with Quickbooks Online and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

**Compensation**
Salary range:
**$70,000 – $85,000**
