Our client Faisal Nawaz \& Co Chartered Accountants is looking for a Senior Accountant \- Financial Reporting \& Reconciliation in Lahore Faisal Nawaz \& Co Chartered Accountants is seeking a detail\-oriented Sr. Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate holds a B.Com or M.Com degree and brings at least two years of proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting. This position demands strong expertise in financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliation. You will play a crucial role in preparing accurate financial statements, managing daily accounting operations, and supporting tax preparation and planning activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet reporting, is essential for success in this role. As a Sr. Accountant, you will work closely with senior management to ensure compliance with financial regulations and facilitate smooth month\-end and year\-end closing processes. While this role does not involve managing a team, it requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently. You will contribute significantly to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the company's financial information while supporting various accounting functions. **Responsibilities** * Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. * Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurately recorded and reconciled. * Perform account reconciliations on a regular basis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. * Support month\-end and year\-end closing activities to deliver timely and accurate financial statements. * Assist in the preparation and planning of tax filings in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. * Maintain detailed and organized financial records to support audit requirements. * Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively to create spreadsheets, reports, and use formulas for financial analysis. * Monitor and control accounting entries to ensure proper classification and documentation. * Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to address accounting queries and enhance reporting procedures. * Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements in all accounting activities.
