Senior Accountant

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a UK\-based accountancy firm and possess a deep understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations. **Responsibilities:** • Prepare and review financial statements, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, self\-assessment tax returns, and other financial reports in compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting • Stay up to date with changes in UK accounting standards and regulations, and communicate their implications to clients and colleagues • Mentor and train junior staff members, fostering their professional development **Requirements:** • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a UK\-based accountancy firm • In\-depth knowledge of UK GAAP, taxation, and other relevant regulations • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Commitment to delivering high\-quality service to clients -
