And yes, there are plenty of free snacks! ****Position Overview:**** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Senior Accountant** to join our dynamic finance team. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast\-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to leverage their accounting expertise and make a big impact at a fast\-growing company. In this critical role you will support timely and accurate month\-end closings, financial reporting and variance analysis, as well as manage complex financial data and contribute to financial planning and budgeting. **LOCATION:** Waltham, MA (Hybrid, 3 to 4 days per week on\-site, 1 to 2 days remote) ****Primary Responsibilities:**** * Prepare and post journal entries, detail balance sheet account reconciliations ensuring accurate financial reporting * Assist with month and year\-end close processes, including accruals and adjustments * Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal company policies * Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends, variances or areas for improvement * Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports * Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies * Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries * Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long\-range planning processes **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably within CPG, food \& beverage, manufacturing, or inventory\-heavy business * Demonstrated experience with tight month\-end closings and variance analysis to support decision\-making. * Ability to streamline accounting operations. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, attention to detail * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with internal teams and external partners * Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, analytical review) **Benefits** * Competitive salary and bonus commensurate with experience * Healthcare \& Dental benefits * 401K * Profits interest units (equity) * Paid\-Time Off * A collaborative, fun, mission\-driven team * Unlimited Biena Snacks
