Idara\-e\-Taleem\-o\-Aagahi (ITA) is a leading non\-profit organization in Pakistan, dedicated to promoting interactive education solutions and lifelong learning for all. With a focus on marginalized communities and girls’ education, ITA works on a range of innovative initiatives, including educational reforms, policy influence, child rights advocacy, and addressing climate change and gender equality.
**Project Overview**
ITA is partnering with the British Council and other consortium and downstream partners to lead the service delivery of the project. The project will be implemented across multiple districts in the KP (including Merged Districts), and Punjab (particularly South Punjab), with a special focus on girls, children with disabilities, minorities, and other marginalized groups.
ILMpact Programme is an education service\-delivery component of the Girls and Out of School Children: Action for Learning (GOAL) programme. It is a 3\-year FCDO funded project which will contribute into GOAL programme that aims to build more inclusive provincial education systems delivering quality education in the Pakistan provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. The target population is girls and marginalized children aged 5 to 16 years. The service\-delivery component is expected to work with the long\-term technical assistance component to deliver the overall GOAL objectives to support at least 160,000 girls and marginalized children to enroll, stay in school, and read a paragraph by age 10\.

**Position:**
School Rehabilitation Engineer
**Location:**
Bahawalpur \& Swabi
**Education:**
Engineering Degree or DAE Civil Engineering with relevant experience
**Experience:**
3\-4 years of relevant field experience (fresh candidates with strong skills may apply)
**Role Purpose:**
To support the ILMpact project through accurate, ethical, and timely data collection from government schoolteachers and students, including child\-level assessments and data entry, in line with project monitoring and evaluation requirements.
**Job Description**
* Prepare project documentation including drawings and technical reports. Plan, design, and oversee the implementation of infrastructure projects
* Ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications
* Coordinate with school management committees or Parent Teacher Committees, communities, contractors, suppliers and local authorities
* Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments
**Skills**
* Proven experience in project engineering and construction
* Familiarity with relevant engineering software and tolls
* Experience working with community\-based infrastructure projects
* Good communication skills in local language(s); basic English/Urdu reading skills preferred.
