Together, we are building the operating system for the modern dealership — powered by AI. **Role Overview** As a **Car Sales Manager** , you will drive dealership adoption of CarAI’s AI communication platform. This is not a generic SaaS sales role — your dealership experience is critical. You will sell directly to dealer principals, general managers, and service directors, demonstrating how CarAI: * Reduces missed calls and lost leads * Increases service appointments and show rates * Automates BDC functions * Lowers payroll costs * Improves customer satisfaction and retention Your ability to speak the language of the showroom, service lane, and F\&I office will directly impact our growth trajectory. **Key Responsibilities** * Own and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets * Prospect and close franchise and independent dealerships * Conduct live product demonstrations tailored to dealership workflows * Identify operational inefficiencies (missed calls, BDC bottlenecks, service underutilization) and position CarAI as the solution * Manage full\-cycle sales from cold outreach to signed agreement * Negotiate contracts and pricing structures * Coordinate onboarding with implementation and integration teams * Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting in Salesforce * Ensure accounts remain active beyond onboarding (reduce churn risk) * Provide structured market feedback to product and engineering teams **Qualifications** * Prior experience in a car dealership environment (Sales Manager, BDC Manager, GSM, or similar strongly preferred) * Proven track record of hitting revenue targets * Deep understanding of dealership KPIs (lead response time, appointment set rate, show rate, RO count, etc.) * Strong executive presence when speaking with Dealer Principals and GMs * Comfortable selling a technical AI product in a consultative manner * CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) * Highly accountable, performance\-driven, and proactive **What Makes This Role Different** You are not selling marketing.
