Biolin Scientific is looking for a dynamic Sales Director in EMEA \& Americas to lead our direct Sales Team in EMEA, including handling Distribution Partners in selective markets and Americas. **Your Role:**
As the Sales Director EMEA \& Americas, you will play a crucial role in the Commercial team, leading the team of direct regional sales managers in key European markets, and lead our Distributor Partner in EMEA \& Americas. You will be overall business responsible for the region performance, ensuring that business goals and expectations are prioritized and effectively met for the region.
Key responsibilities include:
* **Sales Management and Leadership:**
Lead the EMEA sales team and Partners in Americas with the overall responsibility for the business performance, ensuring that business goals and expectations are met. Develop and execute business plans (i.e. monthly, quarterly) by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports. Regularly preparing reports of progress and forecasting for the use of internal and external stakeholders.
* **Customer and Market Focus:**
Understand the market trends and customer needs to meet expectations. Coaching and co\-visit customer with the sales team on site and identified segments and applications for growth. Plan and drive agreed exhibitions and marketing activities with our in\-house marketing team.
* **Team Collaboration:**
Work closely with the Commercial\- and Marketing leaders to drive and support overall business objectives and feed in market and customer insights. Responsible to report relevant business intelligent data to the management team to support long term investments for EMEA.
**What We’re Looking For:**
* **Educational Background:**
University degree, preferably in Business and/or Technology.
* **Experience:**
Extensive International sales\- and marketing experience in leading and manage Sales teams with advanced technologies towards researchers in Industry and Academy.
* **Skills:**
Strong leadership and execution skills. Good understanding of market dynamics and the ability to identify customer needs. Structured with good planning skills, strong verbal and written communication skills. Problem\-solver, with an entrepreneurial mind\-set to drive the regional business development.
* **Attitude:**
Enthusiastic, driven, strong team player with a can\-do attitude. Goal oriented and take ownership.
* **Travel:**
Willingness to travel up to 30%.
* **Language:**
Fluent in English
