SABRE Software Engineer - Big Entities

Our client **Big Entities** is looking for **SABRE Software Engineer** in **Lahore. Job Summary:** A person skilled and experienced SABRE Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with specific expertise in the SABRE system used in the travel and hospitality industry. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing SABRE\-based applications to enhance our business operations and customer experience. **Responsibilities:** * Develop, record, and maintain cutting\-edge web\-based PHP applications on the portal and premium service platforms. * Build innovative, state\-of\-the\-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team. * Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications. * Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools. * Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API. * Work on the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post\-launch support. * Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues. * Document the development process, architecture, and standard components. * Coordinate with co\-developers and keep the leader well informed of the status of development effort and serve as a liaison between development staff and project manager. * Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development. **Qualifications and Requirements:** * Minimum 8\-10 years of related experience * Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. * Experience with SABRE Web Services and APIs. * Experience with other Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus or Travelport is a Plus. * Proven experience as a PHP developer with in\-depth knowledge of object\-oriented PHP and Laravel framework. * Hands\-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design. * MySQL profiling and query optimization. * Creative and efficient problem solver. * Good working experience with modern JavaScript framework (Angular, React) * Proficiency in front\-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript). * Experience with version control tools (Git). * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. * Excellent communication skills and a team player. * Proficient English, both written and verbal * working hours: US Time zone From 5 PM PKT
