They also need to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and promote the business.  * **Staffing** : Recruiting, hiring, and training the restaurant's staff * **Customer service** : Ensuring customers have a pleasant experience * **Compliance** : Ensuring the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations * **Planning** : Developing a plan for the restaurant that considers the market, competitors, sales, and expenses * **Profitability** : Ensuring the restaurant is profitable * **Efficiency** : Ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently * **Budget** : Overseeing the restaurant's budget * **Marketing** : Employing marketing strategies * **Processes** : Streamlining the restaurant's processes to improve the guest experience * Financial management Managing budgets and Keeping track of money and supplies.
