If you bring these qualities, a positive outlook and a sense of humour, you will fit in. **Course Dates** Spring: 27 March to 18 April Summer: 25 June to 15 August (Induction included and paid) ****About BOSS**** We are a British Council accredited residential summer school based at Buckswood School near Hastings. Students aged 8 to 17 join our balanced programme of: * 15 hours of English lessons * 5 hours of Leadership training * Leadership Skills Foundation Young Leader Award * Trinity GESE exam * Two full day and two half day excursions each week * Afternoon and evening activities * Full board accommodation and weekly laundry * New for 2026: 50 Things to Do at BOSS challenge * BOSS welcome pack including wristband, diary, t shirt and bucket hat **The Role** This is a residential position combining teaching, supervision and involvement in our activities and excursions. * Up to 20 hours of teaching per week * Minimum 5 hours of planning time * Activity and excursion duties (up to 23 hours) * Total weekly schedule: 48 hours * Clear timetables and full support from management * One and a half days off per week Teachers can opt in for additional paid work. Extra teaching is paid at £20 per hour and extra non teaching duties at £12\.71 per hour. You will take an active role in safeguarding, supervise students around campus, assist with arrivals, lead activities, supervise excursions and contribute to the smooth running of the course. ****Requirements**** * CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, B.Ed. (Modern Languages) or PGCE Primary * Qualifications must include observed teaching practice * Experience with young learners preferred but not essential * Energy, reliability, flexibility and a genuine commitment to student welfare **Safeguarding \& Recruitment** **We Follow Strict Safer Recruitment Procedures.
